Doctrine & Covenants 6-9

This week we are studying Doctrine and Covenants sections six through nine. We’ll talk about the importance of trusting in the Lord’s timing and understanding that He will help us through our trials. We’ll discuss the commandment to look unto the Lord without doubt or fear, and how difficult it can be to obey that commandment. We’ll review the blessings He has promised as we strive to do His will. We’ll also discuss the importance of following through with good intentions, especially when it comes to personal improvement. We’ll review how the more we understand that life is designed to be difficult, and requires ongoing commitment, the more progress we’ll make.
