We live in a world that is fast paced and has rules as to how things should operate and what is and isn’t acceptable. If you are neurotypical you can easily fit into this world, but if you are neurodivergent, fitting in can be difficult. The same holds true for inside the Church. We have certain ways of operating and how we like to do things. Those who are neurodivergent can find this difficult and can often be labeled as being less faithful. Coach Kamden Hainsworth is on the podcast today talking about what it’s like to be neurodivergent by having ADHD in the world and in the Church and how those who are neurodivergent or those who work with them can learn to support them so that they excel in the Church.
