Don’t ever underestimate the power of prayer in helping and sustaining our Church leaders in their times of need.
God is indeed “no respecter of persons” and as Peter said so well in Acts 10:36, “(he is Lord of all:)…and yes, I think the “smiley face” scriptural emoji is very appropriate here.
The gospel of Jesus Christ is all about change…making bad men good and good men better.
When we are having a difficult time understanding the scriptures, it’s not a bad idea to seek divinely appointed sources to help us in our quest to understand.
For most of us, what is required is not to die for the church, but to live for it. Living a Christlike life every day may be even more difficult than laying down one’s life.
As the church continues to grow at unprecedented rates today, the Lord continues to call many to assist in the work - and they are faithfully answering that call.

Difficult days are ahead and rarely in the future will it be easy or popular to be a faithful Latter-day Saint who testifies of Jesus Christ. But don’t let that stop you from sharing goodness - hopefully you and I get to be “worthy to suffer shame for his name”.
