The people of Isaiah’s time were scattered due to their wickedness and disobedience, but because He loves them - he wants them to be gathered back in…and He allows you and I to help with that most important effort!

Our loving Heavenly Father’s hand is always stretched out to help us, not to punish us.
When you are full of fear and uncertainty, don't ally yourself with the wrong people. Ally yourselves with God, because He is the great Immanuel ("God with us")

As we ‘exalt” the temple above all other things in our lives, it will truly become “a place of refuge and a covert from storm” for us.
When we understand that God loves ALL his children and wants to keep covenants with us, then like Nephi, our souls will “delight” in the words of Isaiah.
Being “reconciled to God” is not about just “doing things His way and learning to deal with it”; it is helping us become united with the will of God and grow closer to Him through the atonement of Jesus Christ. If you’d like to view the video that goes with this podcast, click here
When we recognize our need for the Savior, we will feel greater appreciation for Jesus Christ’s role in helping us overcome sin and death.
The Lord is the same God who “dried the sea, the waters of the great deep”. He’s not flexing…He’s comforting. When we realize that, we’ll be more likely to arise from the dust, sit down, and listen to Him.
Rather than walking in the light of our own “sparks”, when we walk in the light of the Lord - things will become much better and we’ll be able to see much clearer.
