This week we begin of study of the Doctrine and Covenants. We’ll talk about some of the principles taught in the Restoration Proclamation that can help with our mental and emotional well-being. We’ll discuss how the very fact that a Savior was provided and that the gospel was restored in the latter days is a testimony of God’s love and concern for us. As we better understand His love, we can more effectively manage feelings of anxiety and depression. We’ll also talk about how being ready to apply the changes and adjustments that come with the “ongoing restoration” can help us become more flexible and better able to make personal change as well.
When the harrowing force of darkness takes over your very being, would you heed its warning and fortify your faith? From what first appeared as an ominous warning sign on her patriarchal blessing, devoted stay-at-home mom, Meghan Blanc, recalls her bone-chilling encounter with a demonic spirit that took over her body in a state of oppression—a life-changing event she describes as an urgent wake-up call to strengthen her spiritual shield.
Dr. Griffin continues to explore the Restoration Proclamation and discusses the excitement inherent in anticipating ongoing revelation and restoration through prophets from Jesus Christ.
Why we love doing this great work and what we have learned | Season 2 Finale
As we are finishing up the Book of Mormon today, I wanted to share a personal experience with it that made a huge impact on my testimony of this amazing book.
Merry Christmas! Brother and Sister Meredith share their testimonies of Jesus Christ and their experiences sharing the gospel at Brigham Young University-Idaho as they serve as President and First Lady of the university. They explore how the Book of Mormon testifies of Jesus Christ and the gift of His life and Atonement.
In this episode we’ll talk about Moroni chapter ten. We’ve finally come to the end of the Book of Mormon, and it has been a complete treat for me to study it in depth this year. We’ll talk about Moroni’s promise in verses three through five which teaches us how to gain our own testimony of the Book of Mormon. We’ll also talk about his promise that through the Holy Ghost, we can obtain access to all truth. We’ll review how many mental health issues are founded on incorrect beliefs about the world or about ourselves. We’ll discuss how as we correct those beliefs and align them with spiritual truths, we can experience greater peace and happiness.
