D&C 19:4
You would think that the shortest multiple choice quiz in D&C 19 would be a no-brainer. But you and I struggle with it all the time.

D&C 19:23 is pure gold—learn of Christ, listen to His words, and you’ll find peace. Martin Harris had a choice: let his past define him or trust the Lord and move forward. Same goes for us.
Martin Harris gets a bad rap for his big mistake, but his faith and sacrifice were incredible. He even introduced Joseph to E.B. Grandin, making the Book of Mormon possible. D&C 19 shows the Lord’s take on sacrifice—something Martin knew well.
As members of the church, we covenant to take upon us the name of Jesus Christ. In scripture, there are well over 300 different names and titles of Christ. As we take upon us his name, perhaps some of his titles can also be applied to us.
Sharing the gospel has a beautiful exponential ripple effect that just keeps on going. 😀
I have a very strong testimony that when you share the gospel with one person - it is NEVER just one person. Just ask Alma…
D&C 18:10 reminds us the worth of souls is great in the sight of God. We are His children and one of the best ways we can show our gratitude to him to bring Him joy is to seek to repent and change daily….and help others do the same.
D&C 18 contains one of the shortest verses in scripture, but man is it powerful!
What an amazing experience to have been chosen to fulfill ancient prophecy and be a witness to the plates like these good men got to do. The same process they went through to see what they saw is the same process for us to become “witnesses” to aspects of the gospel that we would like to gain a stronger testimony of.
Two very identical sections with a most important message to not only to the Whitmer brothers, but for us today. Teaching repentance is what it all boils down to, and hopefully sections 15-16 help us do it effectively and with love…and acceptance. 😃
