When you’ve just watched 10 hours of General Conference over a two day period and you’re a little overwhelmed with all of it...you know who understands? Jesus. AND, he knows how to help you process and digest all of it so it actually means something to you. 😀
Jesus is most definitely “The Good Shepherd” and he knows each one of his sheep by name and wants to bring them all the gospel message. But when you start counting them...that’s A LOT of sheep! 🐑 💤
As our feet are pointed in the “Perfection Direction”, Understanding the difference between being judgmental vs. being judicious can be a difficult navigational challenge. But when we “take the long view” on people and situations - it’s really not as hard as we make it out to be.
When we are perplexed and distressed and our future appears to be uncertain, don’t worry…about a thing 🎶 God knows what our future is like. And as we put a little faith and trust in him, it is going to be better than we imagined! 😁
Does God expect us to be perfect? Yes...eventually, and only through the Atonement and mercy of Jesus Christ. In our efforts to work on perfection, there is a temptation to put on a perfect show when we are not perfect. Don’t just do things to look perfect, be real and be authentic. 😀
How can the command “I would that ye should be perfect...” motivate us rather than frustrate us? Hopefully these next few days of “The Sermon at the Temple” can help with that. 😀Here is the link to the Google Doc mentioned in the episodehttps://drive.google.com/file/d/1hhv_LWxZ_O2m7Wobc50z-E5BFa6BHuwZ/view
Right out of the gates, Jesus wants his doctrine very clearly understood by the Nephites...and all of us. And it is pretty simple stuff!
The “day of days” has arrived! HE’S HERE! What more can I say? 🙏🏻😇 #T
During times of uncertainly and confusion, isn’t it nice to have the imagery of a mother hen gathering and protecting her beloved chicks? He’s done it before, and He’ll do it again. We just need to be willing to accept and welcome that protection.
