Mormon 6
In the midst of a super sad and tragic chapter, there are a couple of nice things to point out. Makes me love and respect Mormon even more. 😇

Ok, truth be told - after chapter 1, Mormon 2-5 is a pretty sad and depressing tale of a very wicked and disobedient people. That said, Mormon loved them and there are some lessons for us to learn from it. 😀
I love how prophets often compare their experience with spiritual things with food. Words like “feasting”, “hungering and thirsting”, and “tasting” help me understand what it was probably like for them...and I want to do the same and like him, share it with those I love. 😀
Two of the greatest compliments a person (let alone a 10 year-old!) could ever receive - and what a blessing those qualities of Mormon have been to us!
I LOVE MORMON! This guy! I have grown to love him more than I ever have this time reading the B.O.M. Yes, I am proudly a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but what an honor it would be if someone described me as “Mormon”. 😇
I love how instructive 4 Nephi is! And it parallels so closely to our own society. To quote Marjorie Hinckley “I have two choices. I can choose to be happy or I can choose to be sad. I choose to be happy.” 4 Nephi is a great example of that! 😀
Can you imagine the daunting task of trying to describe how to be successful as a nation in a few short paragraphs? Much respect to Mormon and his editing skills. Hopefully this brief intro to 4th Nephi will prepare you to have a great experience in this very instructive book. 😀
3 Nephi 29-30 are yet another great reminder how important covenants, and particularly “the NEW covenant” of the Book of Mormon are to our loving Heavenly Father. 😀
Ah, the disciples affectionately known as the THREE NEPHITES! What a great story! Definitely more questions than answers when it comes to these three. Hopefully we can help with a few of them today!
3 Nephi 27 is full of all kinds of goodness...especially to any who are “trying to be like Jesus” and getting frustrated because they keep falling short. Perhaps this episode can help. 😀
