In this episode we'll talk about 2 Corinthians 8-13. We'll begin by talking about how there were groups of impoverished saints at that time, and Paul encouraged those who could to help as needed. Paul taught them to not only have good thoughts towards others, but to follow those thoughts with action. Sometimes, in our journey for emotional and spiritual improvement, we have great intentions but don't follow up with actual change. Paul teaches how we can do this. We'll also discuss the "thorn" Paul referred to, and how despite his prayers, the Lord did not remove it. We'll review how challenges can help us grow, and how we need to have faith in the Lord's plans for us.
In this episode, Bryce and Jennie Allen share their experience of an unforgettable Youth Conference in St. Louis, and some incredible miracles that changed their lives and the lives of those who attended. Kate Holbrook is a leading voice in the study of Latter-Day Saint women. Her extensive study has blessed us with a historical insight into the women who came before us and the decisions they made during the early days of the church. "When there is something that is difficult [for us to understand], it is an invitation for us to pray and fast and to see if there is anything you can do to make change."
When therapist Bonnie Young was a teen, the subject of sexuality was for her, “drenched in fear.” And many of us can probably relate. For many Latter-day Saints growing up in a sexually conservative culture and with a strict law of chastity — for all of the goods those things can bring — feelings of anxiety, fear, and shame around sexuality may be more the rule rather than the exception.

We all take different path's to find truth - Daniel's path is a bit more unconventional than most. Growing up as an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, Daniel tried to do what's right, but an accumulation of life's challenges, trials, and struggles left him with questions that he felt compelled to find answers to.
