As a youth, I desperately longed for someone to tell me something great about myself BESIDES my musical talents. And when it happened, it was a game-changer. Let’s see what kind of legacy Ammaron left on Mormon as we study Mormon 1:2, 5 today!
I LOVE MORMON! This guy! I have grown to love him more than I ever have this time reading the B.O.M. Yes, I am proudly a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, but what an honor it would be if someone described me as “Mormon”. 😇
In this episode we’ll talk about Mormon chapters one through six. We’ll review the heartbreaking situation that the prophet Mormon had to endure, as he was charged to lead the unrepentant Nephites to battle. We’ll talk about Mormon’s resolve to continue to do what was right, regardless of the outcome. We’ll review the concepts of persistence as they relate to improving our mental health. We’ll also talk about the doctrine of hope and how it can help us be faithful even during dark times.

I love how instructive 4 Nephi is! And it parallels so closely to our own society. To quote Marjorie Hinckley “I have two choices. I can choose to be happy or I can choose to be sad. I choose to be happy.” 4 Nephi is a great example of that! 😀
