Being tricked can be a pleasant or an unpleasant experience. For example, have you ever had a surprise party thrown in your honor? That can be a pleasant trick. Or if someone tricks you into thinking you’re not getting the birthday gift you want, but lo and behold, you did get it. That’s also pleasant.
