Derek Crimin

Derek Crimin has been married to his amazingly beautiful wife, Rochelle for just over 28 glorious years and they have 6 “Crimlets” ranging from two girls (ages 25 and 23) and 4 boys (ages 19, 17, 17 (yes, twins), and 15. He has taught seminary and institute with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for over 25 years all over Davis Counties in Utah and has also taught with the program formerly known as EFY for 13 years. He thinks the youth today are pretty dang awesome! He grew up in Ogden, UT and currently lives in Clinton, UT. He served a mission in the South Dakota Rapid City Mission and graduated from Weber State University with a degree in Broadcasting and Electronic Media where he worked as a radio DJ with his two turntables and a microphone. Derek is obsessed with ties, socks, and watches and usually matches them all. In fact, he and his wife are also the proud owners of BOMSocks - ridiculously comfortable gospel themed socks that are on a mission to share a message with the world! They are perfect for missionaries and anyone who wants to share the gospel and look awesome while doing it. Check them out at www.bomsocks.com and follow them on Facebook and Instagram (@bomsocks). Your feet will never be the same! He also does a daily Come Follow Me resource called “BOM-BITES”. They are short (generally less than 10 minute) videos to help you "feast upon the words ONE BITE AT A TIME" as you study Come Follow Me curriculum as an individual or as a family. You can find them on YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook. They are also in podcast format on Apple, Spotify, and all the other podcast channels. Derek loves relaxing with his family, going on weekly dates with his wife as they are on a quest to search for all kinds of good food. He also loves binge watching the Food Network and HGTV shows, and has a somewhat unhealthy obsession with Chick Fil-A. Oh, and he recently discovered that he really loves Hi-Chews!
