Unlocking Your Divine Potential

In this insightful episode, Heather welcomes coach and actor Shelly Townsend, who shares her inspiring perspective on self-worth, divine potential, and the beauty of personal growth. Drawing parallels from scripture stories, Hollywood classics like The Lion King, and the humble yet powerful dandelion, Shelly explores how we can reframe limiting beliefs and recognize the greatness within us. Through her unique lens, Shelly teaches us to see ourselves as resilient and influential beings, just like the dandelion that thrives despite challenges. Whether it’s finding spiritual truths in a children’s book or embracing our divine nature, this episode is a reminder that self-discovery and transformation are within reach.

Welcome to the Church of Joy!

How would He want each one of His children to be welcomed, cared for, nourished and loved? How would He want us to be renewed through remembering and worshipping Him? We’d love to hear from you!!

Moroni 7:11-17

It seems like being judgmental comes so naturally to us humans, and yet we all need to be able judge situations and scenarios - which often involve other people. It’s something we need to learn how to do correctly and righteously to find happiness in this life. I am so grateful that Mormon says “I show unto you the way to judge”. 🙏🏻 #

Moroni 7-9

In this episode we’ll talk about Moroni chapters seven through nine. We’ll review four separate principles taught in these chapters. We’ll talk about the concept of “entering in to the rest of the Lord” and how that can affect our mental health. This invitation is for this life as well as the life to come. We’ll discuss the idea of transformation and change and how the gospel of Jesus Christ can help us change all aspects of our personalities, including our mental health. We’ll review the relationship between increasing our capacity for love and decreasing our anxiety. We’ll also talk about the idea of “process vs. destination” and how as we focus more on the process, we can experience greater fulfillment.
