As we ‘exalt” the temple above all other things in our lives, it will truly become “a place of refuge and a covert from storm” for us.
When we understand that God loves ALL his children and wants to keep covenants with us, then like Nephi, our souls will “delight” in the words of Isaiah.

When we recognize our need for the Savior, we will feel greater appreciation for Jesus Christ’s role in helping us overcome sin and death.
The Lord is the same God who “dried the sea, the waters of the great deep”. He’s not flexing…He’s comforting. When we realize that, we’ll be more likely to arise from the dust, sit down, and listen to Him.
Rather than walking in the light of our own “sparks”, when we walk in the light of the Lord - things will become much better and we’ll be able to see much clearer.
One of the most important things we can understand about Isaiah’s writings is about why God wants to make covenants with his children, especially the ones who have forgotten Him.
