In D&C 23, the Lord gives 7 verses to 5 guys! Simple counsel, but the overall message is a great one for us!
D&C 22 is a short section that shows how well the Lord listens to the desires of his children to follow him and keep his commandments with the light and knowledge that they have.
I absolutely love our Prophet! So wise. So faith-filled. So optimistic about the future. If we will sustain him, the promises given to us are amazing.
I once read that when Michael Jordan was off his game in any way, he would go back to the basics of shooting free throws. Likewise, I think when our testimonies are struggling - we too can go back to the basics of the gospel to get back to where we need to be.
Section 20 is like the constitution of the Lord’s Church and can be a little daunting to read all at once, but if you dissect the section into little “bite-sized” portions, then you will see how important each part of it is. Can I get an “Amen!” 😀
